Privacy Policy

Whispae is operated by AEEO LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. This page is the short, plain-English version of our policy. The full text — including GDPR/CCPA details, third-party processors, and retention windows — is published in our governance workspace.

The short version

• We are designed for anonymity. We never ask for your real name.
• Your journal entries stay on your device. They are never uploaded.
• Your mood check-ins sync to your account so you can see them across devices — visible only to you.
• The future community feed shows only your nickname.
• We do not sell your data, and we do not share with advertisers.
• Whispae is for adults 18 and over.

What we collect

Email and a salted password hash (via Supabase Auth), the nickname you choose, your date of birth (used for age verification only), the moods and notes you record, and anonymized crash reports via Sentry. That is the complete list. We do not collect contacts, photos, location, microphone, or advertising IDs.

Where it lives

Account data sits in our Supabase project (Postgres, US region). Crash reports go to Sentry (also US). Journal entries never leave your device. If you delete your account from Settings, we permanently remove your profile, moods, posts, and likes immediately; rolling backups are overwritten within 30 days.

Your rights

You can edit or delete any entry, change your nickname, turn off reminders, or delete your account at any time inside the app. If you are in the EU, UK, or California you also have rights to access, port, and object — email us and we'll respond within 30 days.
